Laboratory of User Interface and Software Engineering (LoUISE)
The Laboratory of User Interaction and Software Engineering (LoUISE) is located in the Albacete Research Institute of Informatics (Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha, Spain).
Our main goal is «Improve the quality of Human-Computer Interaction». To achieve this goal, our research interests are structured in four sections:
– User Interfaces development (Model-based development, quality evaluation, interactive patterns, adaptive and collaborative systems, etc.)
– Next Generation User Interfaces ( Post- WIMP user interfaces, mixed reality, multimodal user interfaces, etc.)
– Natural & Artificial Interaction systems – n&aIS (Artificial vision, pattern recognition, visual information analysis, etc.)
– Ubiquitous Computing and Context-Aware Systems (Development and evaluation of Context-Aware systems, RFID technologies, integration of sensors – physiological, environmental, etc.-, development of haptic actuators, etc.)
