13th Conference on Software Engineering and Databases

As in previous editions, JISBD 2008 will host some workshops relative to the topics of Software Engineering and Databases. Workshops are intended to serve as a collaborative forum for exchanging cutting edge ideas and theories in an evolutionary stage. We encourage prospective workshop organizers to submit proposals for highly-interactive workshops, where participants can meet and discuss. As such, it is important to take into account that a workshop should not be considered as a mini-conference. The workshop proceedings will be published electronically with an ISSN, sharing all workshops a uniform format in edition and publishing.

Proposals must be sent to the Workshop Chair, João Araújo, jadi.fct.unl.pt, and must keep the following format:

• Workshop name
• Name, affiliation and short bio of organizers, including relevant past experience in organizing workshops and contact information
• Abstract of the workshop (between 200 and 500 words) including main interest topics and goals to be obtained
• A short statement discussing the relevance of the workshop for the JISBD community
• Required infrastructure (e.g., Audio/Video equipment, room capacity and layout, etc.) and expected number of participants
• A list of (proposed and already committed) program committee members
• Desired workshop date(s), and any additional scheduling constraints
• A preliminary version of the call for workshop papers

Workshop Deadlines
Deadline for proposals: March 30, 2008
Acceptance notification: April 16, 2008

Accepted workshops must adhere to the following common dates:

• Publication of the workshop website (including CFP): April 21, 2008
• Deadline for contributions: July 14, 2008
• Celebration of the workshop: October 7, 2008
