JISBD 2008 calls for original, high-quality contributions in which research results or experiences reports on the fields of Software Engineering and Data Bases, are presented. All contributions must be original and cannot be submitted to, or be under evaluation in any other event.
Contributions may not exceed 12 pages in length, including a 200-word abstract and a list of key words with the main topics of JISBD 2008. Those papers that exceed the established length, do not follow the conference paper format, or are received later than the established deadline will be rejected without review. Papers violating this rule will be rejected.
The Program Committee will evaluate the papers considering their relevance, clarity, originality, contribution and validation. Detailed instructions on paper format and submission procedure may be found at Information for Authors
Best paper award. From all the papers accepted, a paper will be nominated with the best paper award, which will be given in plenary session.
Also, we are negotiating the publication of an extended version of the best papers in IEEE Latin America Transactions.
