Introduction

The Conference on Software Engineering and Databases has been consolidated as a reference event where Spanish and Portuguese researchers and professionals on Software Engineering and Databases can meet and discuss, disseminate and exchange ideas and problems, share experiences and results, thus establishing a suitable collaborative forum among the different sectors and research groups in these areas. The 12th Edition of this conference (JISBD 2007) will be held in Zaragoza, during 2nd Spanish Conference on Computer Science (CEDI 2007). This conference is integrated inside the scientific activities organized arround the Expo Zaragoza 2008.

Following this creation spirit of a framework for the scientific and technological interchange, this edition will promote the presentation of research works already consolidated, a tutorial program, workshops, tools demonstrations and relevant paper divulgation for discussing ideas and proposals under development and ongoing research works.
